Hi, my name is Carlos Esteban Iza Petit. I am proudly Ecuadorian, born and raised in Quito and I am 34 years old. I studied tourism at the Central University of Ecuador since I was 19 years old and I got my degree in cultural and historical tourism, I became a national tour guide at the age of 23 years old and my first job was at Casa del Alabado a pre-Columbian art museum that made me feel more passionate about the history of my country and look for more about my roots and discover my real background. After that I worked at the site museum Intiñan for about 4 years and a half where I met the most of the national guides and tour leaders. Then at the age of 27 I had the chance to travel to Peru with a group of young people between 18 and 21 years old from Canada, we started in Mancora and visited the country by public bus that actually helped me a lot in order to know how to move around the country, we ended up in Cuzco and that was the moment when I figured up that leading groups is my real passion and I don’t want to miss a single opportunity of traveling and knowing new cultures. On the other hand I love my country Ecuador so much because is the place where I have lived the best moments of my entire live and is so rich in culture, gastronomy and has stunning landscapes in its amazing worlds plenty of incredible flora and fauna. If I had the chance to choose where to born, I will definitely chose Ecuador again.
