My name is Heiðrún, born in Husavik and raised on a farm nearby. Was at school in Akureyri, the US and Reykjavik also lived/worked in US, Italy, France and Liberia. I live in Reykjavik area with my 20 year old son and 17 year old daughter. I studied international business, languages and guiding at HI and management and leadership at RU. I have been active in international cooperation and volunteering and other social activities. I have worked in tourism since I was 15 years old and I love touring my country and introducing it to travelers that appreciate our nature and wish to travel responsibly. I like to do different trips and driving my guesta all around Iceland.I love the outdoors, open water swimming, knitting, forestry, culture and nature to name a few. I look forward to showing you my country.
