I am Helty, a Karoness Batak from North Sumatra Indonesia. I started as a local guide in my village in 1989. Since then I became really interested in being a tour leader. Over the years I have a lot of experience with many people from different back grounds and this learned me to be a modest person. A local tour leader is the brigde between my country and the visitors. I can introduce my country and show its culture, nature, the way of life and the colourfull tribes living in Indonesia. And this is why I love Indonesia!
