I´m Juan Ma, a biologist from Guatemala, who has been working in ecotourism for quite some time. One of the main things I started working on as soon as I finished my degree was introducing ecotourism activities to maintaining conservation programs in my country. Sadly we had a past that has affected us negatively as a country in many ways, specially appreciating and taking care of our biodiversity.   Still, this is an opportunity to develop new lines of work around this, which is one of the main reasons I love working as a tour guide in my region and in my country.   I think of myself as a passionate individual who loves the cultural and biodiversity richness of Guatemala who hopes to share the same passion with you
