My name is Marc and I grew up in a small farming town called Calvinia in South Africa. I studied Logistics and Nature Guiding and have been a tourguide/driver throughout Africa since 2012. I am also a passionate nature photographer.

During this period of time I have guided Overland Expeditions from South Africa through to Uganda, covering all the countries in between.

I am a qualified nature and wild animal guide with ample experience and knowledge of Africa and her beautiful countries. I love guiding in Africa because of the vast diversity, natural and cultural wonders and beautiful people that live in each country. Africa has so much to offer each and every one that visits here and it is my privilege and pleasure to showcase and share this beautiful continent to others.

I love South Africa for its natural biodiversity, cultural significance and colorful history. South Africa has so many fun facts and natural beauty, and hence it normally amazes any visitors. I love being able to show off this wonderful country to others, and to see tourists fall in love with this amazing place.
