Born and raised on a farm in the south of Africa.  With all the richness that a rural upbringing on a farm in Africa has to offer, I also developed a deep love for nature. I have a thorough understanding of the Zulu and Swazi ethnic group’s way of life, as I grew up with them and spoke Zulu as a girl

My career path in the tourism industry started in 1998 as a tour guide in the Western Cape specializing in the wine industry. I also worked as a cultural, driver guide and on coaches mainly with guests from USA and The Netherlands. As a landscaper I have extensive knowledge of our flora and a passion for my career. I re-entered the tourism industry in 2016 as a national guide in SA and worked mainly with guests from Belgium, I also did a few KRAS tours. After having lived abroad for a few years, I realized that there is just “something” in this vibrant country of ours and it’s nowhere else on earth - it must be the unique beauty, the light, the sounds of the bush, the colors of nature and then there is the melting pot of cultures. It is just this “something” about South Africa that I would also like to share with guests. I want my guests to leave with a deeper understanding and a fondness of this country with the ultimate desire to return.
