I am Shyam Manikkuwadura. 47 years old. Married and blessed with a Son and a daughter. I’m working as a National Tourist guide Lecturer since 2006. I’m an enthusiastic, self motivated, responsible and hardworking person. I’m a mature Tour Leader and adaptable to all challenging situations.  I have some strong work experience working with few leading tour companies in Sri Lanka. Since last  17 years I have been working for Walker’s Tours and I have worked for many leading international tour operators as well, such as Club Yravel, cox and kings, Intrepid travel, NAT travel, Gate 1. I have successfully led tours of up to 35 guests while maintaining a high level of customer service and guests satisfaction. As a result I have awarded couple of times as the best Tour Leader in Sri Lanka by Gate 1 Travel based in USA. Apart from round tours I have engaged in Cruise operations as well as MICE tours. Tourism is my Passion. Working as a Tour Leader can be a great way to Meet new people, travel, share incredible experiences and learn more about a culture or place. Since I have been visited few countries including Netherlands, I feel being a Tour Leader is the best way to explore the world.   Obviously Sri Lanka is one of the most beautiful countries in the world including white sandy beaches, dazzling sun shine, exotic wild life, tropical weather, rich history and culture and Hospitable people with Lovely Smile. I feel I live in a Paradise.
