My name is William Fourie I am married and have 3 children. I have been actively involved in Travel & Tourism in Africa for more than 25 years. I have guided many different tours with International Clients throughout Sub-Sahara Africa, some of which were unique, such as; ATV expeditions through some of the most remote areas in Botswana, Motorcycle tours in Big 5 Wildlife areas, 4x4 Adventure tours, Language Safari’s, Student tours that included rural community upliftment programs as well as Wildlife Research Expeditions in Kenya. Guiding for me is a passion, not a job. Every day is different even if it’s the same route with different clients it’s never the same.   My family have been in Africa for more than 300 years. My ancestors were French Hugenots who arrived in Cape Town, South Africa in 1688. I was born in Zambia and grew up ‘on the Copperbelt’ as it is known till this day. I have an absolute love for Africa, her people, Unique cultures, amazing food and so much more. The sands of Africa is definitely in my veins.
